Google has forced the closure of YouTube Vanced, a popular third-party Android app that includes ad blocking without a Premium subscription. In addition to the built-in subscriptions without ads, the app allows additional customization including, playback, streaming conversion, HDR enforced mode, photo-video, and more.
While the service has been skiing a bit, the developers team recently announced they have received a stop and quit letter from Google. The YouTube Vanced application is no longer permitted to use YouTube images, or to communicate with the YouTube service in any way. Effectively, kill the system.
Additionally, Vanced creators have indicated that the project will be closed in the coming days, and download links will be removed. Although the app will continue to work for anyone you have currently installed on their Android devices but without any future updates, it will most likely stop working soon.

Vanced has been discontinued. In the coming days, the download links on the website will be taken down. We know this is not something you wanted to hear but it's something we need to do. Thank you all for supporting us over the years.

Google had previously sent Vanced owners a recent stop and quit notice, forcing developers to stop distributing and upgrading the app.
Vanced is the latest victim of Google's action against third-party applications for access to YouTube. Earlier, YouTube had forced two popular Discord music bots to disconnect from the internet, just weeks before it began testing commercial YouTube-based YouTube integration.
At the same time, YouTube also brings video recordings to its Android system. Once live, it will allow users to read the extended video description by clicking the "Show Transcript" button below the extended video description.
